Who We Are

Project Find Yourself is a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organization aiming to provide children between the ages of 5 to 11 with primary education on how to say “no” and develop self-autonomy towards their feelings and expression of emotions. Our mission is to empower children to understand and assert their boundaries in a positive and confident manner.

The root cause behind this project was the lack of education and self-training for sheltered children in the community, especially in shelters. These children have previously been subject to inadequate living environments, they often lack an understanding of self-autonomy and have not much opportunity to learn how to express themselves in an appropriate manner, if they are willing to express themselves at all.

Project Find Yourself is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. We believe in nurturing their emotional intelligence and helping them build resilience from a young age. Our programs are designed to encourage self-awareness and promote healthy emotional expression.

Our Impact

So far, we have been able to bring this workshop to 300+ sheltered children for free globally.

The important message of self-autonomy that we share lasts a lifetime for the children, as proven by our team of developmental psychology experts & testimonials of previous participants.

All of the crafts, presentations, and outdoor activities that we did today were so fun, and it helped me understand that I can set my own boundaries. I felt heard and respected whenever I asked the volunteers for help. Today's workshop made me look back on my friendships, specifically that it is okay to have boundaries even with close friends so I know I am respected in our relationship. I really loved the hand-painting and writing what we like/dislike the most. Thank you for coming!
